Ultimate Avengers 2 Coming Aug. 8

Plus, news for fans of the old Max Fleischer Superman cartoons.

Lions Gate will release Ultimate Avengers 2 on DVD Aug. 8 for $19.98. The plot focuses on the Avengers going to Wakanda to once again face their interstellar foes. Look for more backstory on Thor, in particular, and of course, the appearance of the Black Panther.

Meanwhile, VCI Home Video will release Superman: Ultimate Max Fleischer Cartoon Collection to DVD on June 6 with a retail price of $9.99.
