Disney Wants Clone Wars

Disney is working hard to aquire the broadcast rights to Geroge Lucas' computer animated series Clone Wars.

Animation Magazine reported a rumor that Disney is going after the broadcast rights to George Lucas' proposed computer-animated Star Wars series Clone Wars which is expected to be ready for broadcast by the fall of 2008.

The magazine also repoted, citing JimHillMedia, Disney wants to turn a portion of Tomorrowland in Disneyland over to Lucas so that new Star Wars-related attractions can be added to the theme park.

Lucasfilm though told Animation Magazine that there have been no stepped-up talks with Disney.
